“Boardwalk Empire” Doesn’t Have A Soft Side, Just A Side With More Nudity

People (including us) always talk about seeing the softer side of characters when people are naked, having sex, or otherwise in a position where we can perv on them. But when it comes to "Boardwalk Empire" characters, nudity is never vulnerability; it's just another kind of armor. (Armor with boobs!)

Case in point: last night we briefly got to see (U.S. Attorney Esther Randolph's (Julianne Nicholson's) boobs and now we're even more frightened of her. She's gorgeous, her tits are certainly shapely, and now we know that she's sleeping with her underling, Agent Clifford Lanthrop, but this all makes her seem more like a badass.
