Pornography As Art Imagines Sex In Public

Though we've often been told that sex is everywhere and we're constantly bombarded with porn, we've never quite felt that that was exactly true. For instance: we don't see hardcore sex (or even nudity!) anywhere near as much as we see advertising—which, as consummate New Yorkers, we see pretty much all the time. In his latest project, Pornography as Art, photographer Alva Bernadine imagines what life might be like if sexual imagery really were as prevalent as we've been told...and let's just say it'd make our walk to work a damn sight more interesting.
