A Field Guide To Bridgette B

On our way out of Las Vegas last weekend, we saw Bridgette B hanging out by the concierge of the Hard Rock Hotel and we were like, "Damn girl, you're rocking that velour tracksuit so hard." That's not why we're writing this field guide—we're actually doing it because she won Unsung Starlet of the Year at AVN—but we wanted to let you know that she looks flossy 24/7.

Bridgette B was born on October 15, 1983 in Barcelona, Spain. She attended a Catholic high school in the city before heading to Ohio for college. While she was at Kent State, she joined the Chi Omega sorority (other notable alumnae include Lucy Liu and Joyce DeWitt), lost her virginity at a frat party (she notes that her first partner was actually good and showed her a few tricks), started stripping part time, and she left as a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising. As she mentions in an interview with AIPdaily, she tried getting into the business world that her degree was destined for, and she even dabbled as a receptionist for a bit, but eventually she got fed up with the daily grind, moved to Los Angeles, and walked right into L.A Direct Models. She was twenty-four at the time, and it's been four years since she entered the adult industry. Her boob size may have changed a few times (she was a natural C, then she got DD boobs put it, and now she boasts DDD-cups), but she's just as passionate about porn today as she was when she first came to California.

Before she was making porn, Bridgette was known as "the Spanish Barbie" (in fact, she still refers to herself that way on occasion). That moniker was given to her by the first gentlemen's club she worked at in Ohio. "It made it easier on the clients to identify me as well," she notes, "because they were so confused as to what nationality I was. Here was this super tanned, super blonde, with heavy accent in the Midwest. They needed something to call me." The name that us porn fans know her by was chosen by Bridgette herself as an homage to the legendary French actress/musician/goddess Bridgette Bardot.

Wondering what Bridgette's first scene was like? So were we! Fortunately, she describes it in groovy detail:

"I shot for Vivid's 'Brand New Faces.' It's a right of passage, so I've heard. I had the biggest nerves going on set, but all melted away super quickly. They paired me up with Marco [Banderas], who is also Spanish. He was perfect, not only good looking of course, but took the time to make sure I was comfortable and gave me some pointers for onscreen sex, so thank goodness for him. My makeup stylist was absolutely a darling and amazing. He was old-school Hollywood and knew exactly who my muse was, so he went extra vavavoom on me. I felt so sexy after, didn't wipe off my makeup all night. Then, of course, there was the director who was so patient with me. Overall it truly was the best first scene I could have asked for."

And for the record, Bridgette says that Spanish folk have a special screwing style: "People in Spain fuck much dirtier than they do here, that's for sure." She's very proud of her heritage, and she once said that her biggest fantasy is "to turn people on more to my culture and the sensuality that is just part of our genetics from birth." Please, Bridgette educate us more! (Can we get private lessons? No? That's ok.)

When she's not working her ass off or crusing around Los Angeles in her convertible, Bridgette likes to cook; she says the Food Network is on 24/7 in her house but "Top Chef" is her favorite show. If this ZZInsider video is anything to trust, she has a huge house with a luxurious kitchen, and she absolutely loves her gas range. "Next to a diamond earring, this is the way to my heart."

Do you think her Unsung Starlet award touched her heart at all? We sincerely hope so. After four years in the industry and over 150 films under her belt, Bridgette definitely deserves a truckload of praise and accolades. She's not just doing porn for herself, she's doing it for the people of Spain! Can't we give her another award? Here's an idea: if Bridgette continues being a gorgeous, powerful, snarky, and creative pornstar in 2012, then Spain will give her the Laureate Cross of Saint Ferdinand. Sound good?
