Sometimes things in life go full circle.
When I first watched porn, my boyfriend at the time sat me down and showed me a Kink.com scene. I'm no prude and at the time I'd seen porn but I'd seen nothing like the restraints, the BDSM (which I didn't even know what the initials meant at the time) and the toys that Kink used.
Some of my first experiences as a sex worker was shooting for Kink. It was experimentation at first and it wasn't something I thought of doing professionally. However, watching and being in those scenes left an indelible impression on me that ultimately led to me to not pursue a career in classical music. Instead, I followed my heart and my heart was in porno... which led me to the San Fernando Valley.
At the time, Kink wasn't the fetish juggernaut that it is today. I flew up to San Francisco and continued to shoot for them. Their notoriety and fame seemed to shadow mine — or was it that my notoriety and fame followed Kink's?
When I decided to make the leap to directing, there were only two companies I was interested in working with. Evil Angel, of course, because their high quality gonzo was so much like what I wanted to do, and, as you've probably guessed, Kink.
I look at what I've done so far and now that I'm shooting for Kink's sites, it's with a certain degree of nostalgia. Many of the new girls coming through their doors aren't too much different than I was: college students that just came of age, looking for a sexual identity.
I'm far from over in this business. I'm very pleased with how it's progressing. Watch this space. There's more to be said about my sexual journey with Kink.
