Topless Extras Have Changed Our Perception Of This “Spring Breakers” Movie

We judged wrong. Our first encounter with this movie was when we saw people peddling pictures of Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens wearing bright short-shorts; we assumed "Spring Breakers" was on a Teen Disney kind of level. Then we saw these extras partying topless on a balcony and we decided to invest some time and research in the matter. The plot actually sounds kinda dark! And it's directed by Harmony Korine (of such vile and brain-blasting films as "Kids" and "Gummo")!

We're not saying we've suddenly become rabid "Spring Breakers" fans who will be first in line to see the film when it comes out next year, but we've definitely changed our attitude towards this film and everyone involved in it. (And maybe we'll be third in line to see the film.)
