Flesh Flicks: Vanessa Blue, Ask For Her By Name

A few readers lamented the lack of color in our 2007 Crush Objects list, a lament that we share and that we hope says more about the state of "mainstream" porn than it does about our personal biases. Unfortunately, few black women are able break away from the "interracial" tag and simply exist as unmodified "pornstars," but one that was mentioned by readers and us alike is Vanessa Blue. It's true that she was mostly off our radar last year, but that doesn't mean we've forgotten about her completely, or can't still appreciate her body ... of work. Here's hoping for a bigger and better 2008 for all of us.
