We don't see her trying to read small print at night, we don't see her absently daubing at her specs with a specialty cloth, and we don't see the other kids all jealous of her because she's all smart and stuff.

Instead Ms. Luna treats her glasses like her eyebrows. There they are, but let's not refer to them again.

What is notable about this scene is the sequence when the soundtrack tease music fades and we hear Luna talk. The baby-voiced Luna does injury to the nearsighted everywhere by vocal-frying (I am laying claim to introducing the porn world—and ergo the world—to this practice among the trying-to-sound-sexy as far back as 2005) her way through a porn scene; we give credit to her partner for staying focused through it.

In the end, Luna gets a cleanup job applied to her right lens, and we guess that was the whole point. Still, there is more to wanting to come on women with glasses than just their wearing glasses.
