The term apparently stems from dogwalkers of yore stumbling across adventurous couples engaged in fucking behaviours around the parks. And these walkers, being the polite, reserved Brits they are, didn't call out, "Hey, what the fuck are you doing?" but instead quietly stepped back and silently took in the show. As it turns out, that sort of thing catches on. And now we've got a grand tradition of outdoor watching and fucking, fucking and watching, and babes giving BJs outside at all hours of the night. Dogs are adorable, but dogging has got our hearts.
