Your Wish Is Granted, Cindy Starfall

You will forgive us feeling dubious, at first, upon viewing a title like "I Wanna B A Porn Star." After all, how many times can you see some coached, dead-eyed 19-year-old say "I'm a very sexual person"? But Cindy Starfall? She is going to B a porn star.

"I've always been very sexual," says Cindy Starfall to world-class perv Jake Malone, and the red flags go up. But then she describes all the things she and her boyfriend get up to ("I did the double vagina with my boyfriend and this guy we picked up") and we think: She's the real deal.

It's not that people who aren't particularly interested in sex can't make great porn movies, but Jake Malone is a genuinely dirty man, and it is a treat—in the way it is a treat to watch Jamie Gillis in his prime—to hear Malone's observations. There's no heavy breathing, there's no subtle malice, it's just: "I like the way your boyfriend thinks."

Starfall is a petite Asian (Thai? Filipina?) with a thousand-watt smile. With five movies under her belt, it is unclear if, in a year, we could tune back in and see the same vivaciousness, but some people get into porn for the cash, and some people get into it for the sex and the experience, and Starfall seems to belong to the latter category.

Which is good, because there's not as much cash.

Upon viewing this movie (which also stars a newcomer named Aubrey who seems kind of mind-blowing, too—I've included a shot of her walking up the stairs), you will want to see where Cindy Starfall lands next.
