A detective, Seon-woo, has been hired by the gorgeous and enigmatic Soo-jin to take photos of her husband in the midst of having sex with his mistress, but when Seon-woo gets to the tryst, Soo-jin's husband is already dead. Now the detective is the primary suspect in the murder and this means he's also going to have sex with Soo-jin because she knows how to buy some fancy underwear and why shouldn't he bang her anyway? Is that a question? That's not really a question.
Real question: why is it that whenever we post a clip from a Korean film, it's the hottest thing we've seen in months? Look at the South Korea tag page for yourself and you'll see: hit after jaw-dropping hit! We just saw a clip from "The Concubine" last week, and we're still thinking about the dynamics between Korean royalty and their lower-class lovers. How long will we lust after Park Si-yeon, the woman who plays Soo-jin? Days, weeks, months? Our memories are poor, but our blood never forgets the heat we get from these scenes.
