Legitimate Gape: The Charming “Three Gapeteers”

Like the Dread Pirate Roberts or touring productions of Blue Man Group, The Three Gapeteers are interchangeable in their anal crimefighting. As a (w)hole, Jay Sin's often-shocking movie is just as often delightful.

When it comes to gaping, I'm like Satan in "The Exorcist": I consider some things far too vulgar a display of power. I know gapes exist, but I don't like lookng at them in my private life. Perhaps I am scared of what I'll see at the other end of that abyss?

But this movie reinforces my belief—which flags now and then—that the best porn performers are real adventurers. Director Sin (who happens to be Belladonna's brother) has his actresses not only taking butt plugs like champs, but also shooting balls from gape to gape and playing rounds of Gape Golf.

Some look at the gape and other extreme porn acts as nothing but showmanship. So what? We can still appreciate Cirque du Soleil even if we see no practical value in bending our bodies from 20 different joints. What Sin and post-Iron Curtain temptresses Alysa, Anita Hengher, Isabella Clark, Roxy Ray, and newcomer Hotkinky Jo do is wonderfully staged but also impromptu performance art—but instead of passing around a hat, they let appreciative audience members drop a little something into their gapes.
