You know what the biggest complaint about "Parade's End" is? The dialogue is too quiet. Seriously. There was evenan article in the Daily Mail about people tweeting their displeasure from all the mumbles going on. We don't mind the quietude--in fact, we think the best scenes are those without any dialogue, such as this one in which Adelaide Clemens holds a pose for thirteen seconds.
This scene makes us happy on three different levels. For one, it shows that "Parade's End" will continue to use nudity. Second, we relish any chance we can get to see more of Adelaide Clemens's body. Lastly, the intense stillness in this clip, the mirror, and the red curtains in the background give everything an uncomfortable David Lynch sort of vibe, and we love us some Lynch.
