If this movie had to be made, we're glad it was Lee Roy Myers who did it. I happened to have been at a pitch meeting at a another studio when someone suggested a "Sailor Moon" parody.

So you see, we all sort of dodged a bullet with "Sailor Poon."

This 2-disc set comes with an interactive DVD, in which viewers can select strip-teases, blowjobs, or full missionary sex from either Akira (Sailor Mars), Belle (Sailor Moon), or Heather Starlet (Sailor Mercury). Standing in for you are stunt cocks Rocco Reed, Anthony Rosano, and Evan Stone. All nice men. You wouldn't want some D-bag standing in for you up Asa Akira, would you?

The second disc tells a story about an evil queen and General (Sasha Sweet and Tommy Pistol), who attempt to sexually compromise the Sailors in their dreams. Clearly this had some antecedent in the original show, but I imagine I'd be put on some watchlist if I started Googling it.

The DVD I received did not actually have a listing of the interactive goodies each star made available ("See all these choices around the screen?" the Sailor girls said. No, I said, because they're not there), but I easily made use of some arcane buttons I'd just discovered on my DVD player to run the trio through its paces.

In interactive DVDs, when someone is standing in for your penis but the star is looking at (you), one can actually feel the disconnect one feels upon seeing the back of one's own head in a dressing room mirror. Except with Lexi Belle's vagina.

"Sailor Poon" is fun and silly and good-natured, even if only 1/6 of the cast is Japanese.
