Fashionistas Photoplay: (Then We Take) “Safado: Berlin”

We have always been partial to Evil Angel, the American home of Rocco Siffredi, Nacho Vidal ... and, of course, Belladonna. The third and final installment of the company's very successful Euro-looking "Fashionistas" series, subtitled "Safado: Berlin" was released last Friday. Directed by dancer-turned-pornographer John Stagliano, the film follows Siffredi to Berlin where he can investigate the wacky world of S&M and learn a little about himself in the process.

Antonio (Siffredi) comes to Berlin on the trail of Katsumi, all the while becoming more entangled in the leather and latex demimonde of Safado, played by Nacho Vidal. Meanwhile Jesse (Belladonna) can only hope Antonio doesn't get into too much trouble.

The previous two movies won numerous U.S. and world porn awards and even spawned a Las Vegas show. (It is a rare sign of the mercenary porn world's restraint that Dirtpipe Milkshakes 2, the Revue, isn't playing at the O.J. Simpson Room at the Palace Station.)

Siffredi and Vidal are internationally famous pornstars, and have been for years. The choice of Vidal as a deviant genius was, in particular, a no-brainer.
