"Sex has always been a game to me," says Tori Black in "Kinky Desires," and the mind races to what Black might get up to with those devilish peg puzzles at Cracker Barrel. "I wanted to be the ultimate champion."
This movie falls into an interesting pocket: few people since Rick James would use the word "kinky" to describe themselves or their partners, because the spectrum of sexual experience and proclivity is so vast. You get the impression that even the term "kink" has outlived its usefulness as a descriptor.
So the Skinemax-friendly title is for an audience that doesn't see itself inhabiting that world; we need look no further than the word "Desires," which is like International Porn Standard for Softcore. "Kinky Desires" is porn's version of an oxymoron.
But that doesn't mean Tori Black and Jeanie Marie don't look great. In fact, they look great like the hottest divorced women at the office showing up in fetish drag to the Halloween party and blowing everyone's mind.
The scene opens with Jeanie Marie tied to a post, blindfolded. Black asks her what she would do to get free. Marie replies that she would do anything. Suddenly Marie's blindfold is gone. How did this happen? We don't know. Perhaps it was the magic of Kinky Desires.
Black gently crops Marie's ass. The latter gasps pornographically. Had this been authentic, such a light touch would neither have been delivered nor would it have elicited such a response. But we're not talking about power exchange here; we're talking about dressing up.
The women get up to all manner of lite-fetish stuff, like candle wax and, uh...well, the set looks pretty gritty, so that's fetishy. We just feel that they are capable of so much more, but the audience won't allow it.
If you look at their eyelids, they are blinking out "Not remotely torture."
