Paul Newman plays Louisiana governor Earl Long, Lolita Davidovich plays stripper Blaze Starr, and together, the two of them eat watermelon while screwing and fight for civil rights. The fact that this isn't on Netflix Instant is killing us.

It's still up for debate how much Earl and Blaze really knew each other (despite being such a fantastic premise, this movie is based on reality) but it was widely reported that Earl introduced Blaze to the press as "the future first lady of Louisiana" and left her a big chunk of money in his will. We'll never know what really happened between them, but thankfully, we'll always have Paul and Lolita and a very seedy watermelon to help us imagine.
