Popshots of the Week: Goin’ Back To Vegas

The 2007 XBiz Summer Forum was held at the Hard Rock Hotel and Inferno in Las Vegas this week. As a business-to-business affair, no consumers were there to act as a butt-grabbing buffer when the occasional porn performer walked by. Here is Kentucky's folksy and delightful Tera Wray, who is the contract girl for New Jersey's Pleasure Productions. On further inspection, I think that's a leather bikini she is wearing. At the time, I paid little attention to the fabric.

Seminars at the Forum included discussions of content security, generating web traffic, financial planning for porn professionals (this was a great idea), and a thinly-disguised cry for help from XBiz staff on how to write and submit a press release to them (admirably, they did not use real-life examples).

Unlike the AVN convention, this to-do didn't really have porn performers meeting and greeting, though there were some about, like Wray. Mostly, though, there were rented models from local and L.A. agencies, like the waitresses and these ladies flogging affiliate program CECash.

But when you've got to rent a waitress, you definitely do it in style.

"Are those prescription?" I asked.

"Yes, and yes," she replied.

The Hard Rock's pool attracted more people than the seminars did, but then again it was about a thousand degrees out. And why does one need to know about Internet Security and the 2257 regulations, anyway? We're going to live forever! Venus, if you will? Throw me that promotional frisbee!
