Lady Gaga’s Purposeful Exposure Confuses Us

This is a problem that we come to often: can we call it an upskirt photo if the underwear revealing was done on purpose (or at least anticipated)? It's even harder to determine what's going on when we're talking about Gaga's panties. She's hyper-conscious of how she presents herself, and we're sure she takes her underwear into account.

And since she's clearly wearing a starched cornette as a dress, she must know that her panties will be as visible as her bra. She planned for this with the all-white ensemble! So what do we have here? What do we call this? How do we live with ourselves? Oops, that last question wasn't for you.
