Given all the brouhaha around these parts lately about Flickr's wonton censorship of stray boobies, it's interesting that the sexiest photoset we came across this weekend doesn't include any boobies at all, stray or otherwise—or any other identifiable body parts for that matter. Instead, the French digital artist responsible for the "Les Sabines" series has replaced all the curvy, spread-eagled, and otherwise come-hither babelog models in his works with brightly colored outlines of the figures in question, and ends up creating both a visual statement on censorship as well as a meditation on fantasy, memory, and pornographic desire in the process. We've seen projects like this before, but rarely have they been done in a way where the end project manages to be both visually arresting and still pretty sexy in that fill-in-the-blanks sort of way. (Of course, it doesn't hurt that we actually recognize the source material for some of the images in the set. Yes, we're very glad that summer vacation season happens to be rolling around very soon.)
