The “Girls” Are Back On TV

What would HBO's "Girls" be without Lena Dunham topless? No, we're seriously asking: most of what we know about the show is filtered through the naked bits that we enjoy here and there; fortunately, they're frequent and plentiful enough that we've practically seen the entire series.

Just kidding, we've totally seen the show from start to finish. But we do think that Ms. Dunham's oft uncovered breasts do add a very important something to the show: it's part the joy of seeing boobs (one we'll never get tired of, guys), and part the inevitable controversy and flurry of press that's generated by the fact that a woman who looks like Lena Dunham dares to bare her boobs (which, to be honest, we've been tired of since day one). But it's safe to say that "Girls" wouldn't be "Girls" without it: so let's raise a glass and get ready for another slate of episodes featuring the breasts of Lena Dunham--and, if we're not mistaken, the pubes of Gaby Hoffmann, too.
