US Airways Takes Twitter on a Flight of Pornographic Heights

We know airlines are hated by passengers for losing their luggage, bumping them off flights and delays, and social media campaigns are fighting to polish that tarnished imaged, but a plane penetrating a pussy seems a bit hard even by our standards.

But that's just what US Airlines tweeted and then hastily apologized for, according to the Chicago Tribune (link below). The image of a women, spread eagle, with a passenger jet lodged deep inside her vagina has been called "the worst tweet ever shared by a brand in the history of Twitter." It was shared with over 420,000 followers, posted in response to a customer complaint.

"It started when Twitter user @ElleRafter complained about her plane sitting on the tarmac, resulting in a delay getting to her destination. US Airways sent its response in a tweet: 'We welcome feedback, Elle. If your travel is complete, you can detail it here for review and follow-up.' But the here, which was probably supposed to be a link to the company's customer service page ended up being a link to the obscene photo, which showed up in a big way on the Twitter feed."

US Airways released this official statement: "We apologize for the inappropriate image we recently shared in a Twitter response. Our investigation has determined that the image was initially posted to our Twitter feed by another user. We captured the tweet to flag it as inappropriate. Unfortunately the image was inadvertently included in a response to a customer. We immediately realized the error and removed our tweet. We deeply regret the mistake and we are currently reviewing our processes to prevent such errors in the future."

They shouldn't protest so much. US Airways is a better fuck than flight. It could be a whole new business model: naked flight attendants, remove the seats and replace them with mattresses, "Coffee, tea or Viagra?" The possibilities are endless. We'd book passage on that airline.
