‘Girls’ Adds Marin Ireland To Hopefully Subtract Clothes

With the end of the traditional TV season in full swing, networks are already picking up the pieces for a fresh start in the Fall. New shows have been picked up while some old favorites (R.I.P. Community) have been dumped. The Upfronts, where networks display their new schedules for next season to advertisers, are happening in New York this week. Some familiar faces, like Matthew Perry and Kate Walsh, will make their returns to the boob tube. There will, of course, be several, new young actors hoping their edgy sitcom or teen drama will propel them into stardom.

Marin Ireland already has several supporting roles on TV and movies under her belt, namely on Homeland, Boss Law & Order, The Good Wife, I Am Legend, Rachel Getting Married, and Revolutionary Road. The very talented Tony Award nominee has been added as a recurring character to season four of HBO's critical darling Girls. She'll be playing a rich, sexual, beautiful but cold girl name Logan, a classmate of Hannah's (Lena Dunham) at the Iowa Writer's Workshop. Since Girls has a bit of a rep for having some daring nude scenes, one would assume Ms. Ireland will join in on the naked fun, especially since she's no stranger to showing off her beautiful boobs, ass and some muff like she did in the 2012 flick 28 Hotel Rooms. The new season can't get here fast enough.
