Looking For A Quiet Place To Study? Why Not Try The Strip Club?

The phrase "Only in New York City" gets bandied about a lot, but this is the kind of thing which fits that mold to a t.

According to the New York Observer (link below), the Queens strip club Show Palace is offering students with a valid i.d. free entry to the club and admittance to a private room for, ahem, solo studying.

"We hope to provide a relaxing and creative environment for students to study in," (club manager Mike) Diaz said. "It goes hand-in-hand with us being an 18-and-over club. Just as our girls perform to help pay for college, we're hoping these students use our rooms to get through exams!"

The promotion runs through the end of the month and includes a free meal. Just like mom used to make. And speaking of moms, this isn't the first time the club has thought of creative ways to bring in clients. For Mother's Day they offered free admission to patrons and their mothers, provided they arrived together.

"We try to think of fun and creative experiences that we know will appeal to our clientele," Mr. Diaz said. "We find that hooking into national holidays and other events allows us to have fun with what we offer and attract new crowds."

They also recently hosted a showcase by Duke porn star Belle Knox.
