“Oh Joy, Sex Toy”: Dirty Cartoons and Sex

Kickstarter is a great way to waste money, but every now and then a worthy cause is up for funding, and that's just the case with "Oh Joy, Sex Toy," an online weekly cartoon that reviews sex and offers sex education in a way we all can understand, in pictures. 

According to its Kickstarter page (link below), "Oh Joy, Sex Toy" (OJST) is a weekly webcomic by Erika Moen and Matthew Nolan that debuted April 2013 and has updated every Tuesday since, bringing you reviews of everything that relates to sex, sexuality and the sex industry. From sex toy reviews to sex education to interviews with sex industry professionals and more! With the aid of curated guest reviewers, OJST strives to be relevant to all different genders, body types, and sexualities."

The campaign is to pay for the publishing of a 220-plus page book that collects 52 strips, all of which are online, but wouldn't it be nice to have a copy you could give to friends and family? Of course there are rewards for donations of $2 and up, but really you think they could have been a bit more creative with what they're offering.

And they are! For $250 you can "‘Be a Masturbateer for a Day’: You provide photos and agree to be drawn into a future OJST strip as one of the Masturbateers."
