Eva Green has never been shy about doing nude scenes, but even she has her limits.
According to Net A Porter (link below), Eva dropped out of starring in Danish director Lars von Trier's 2009 film Antichrist because her requests to tone down the explicit content fell on deaf ears.
"Lars von Trier was my God. I loved everything that he’d done, it was my dream and fantasy to work with him, but I didn’t want to do certain things. I was asking questions and not being a puppet. There were a lot of sexual things where I was like, ‘Really? I’m not sure; is there another way to make it work?’ and he was like, ‘Nobody questions my authority.’ Brutal," she sighed.
It certainly didn't hurt Eva's career any, as she doesn't seem to wont for work. Recent roles include a nude turn in this year's 300: Rise of an Empire, as well as a featured role on the new Showtime series Penny Dreadful. Plus it also paved the way for the more age appropriate casting of Charlotte Gainsbourg in Antichrist. Face facts, it would have been creepy to watch Eva jerk off Willem Dafoe. It's creepy watching anyone do it, but it would have been doubly creepy if it were Eva.
