In case you weren't already aware of this, in addition to approving films and assigning them horribly arbitrary ratings, the Motion Picture Association of America is also in charge of approving marketing materials for films, like movie posters.
Well, the MPAA got their panties in a bunch over this submitted poster for the new film Sin City: A Dame to Kill For that features Eva Green and includes a cameo by her right breast and hard nipple.
According to Batty For Nudity (link below), "the poster was disapproved by the MPAA 'for nudity — curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown.'"
It's obvious why they're doing this. As a parent, I don't want to have to explain to my child about what a woman's breast is while we're off to see the latest comic book, superhero, destruction porn film with all the bloodless violence their young minds can handle. Way to go, MPAA. You're clearly fighting the good fight here.
