This past Saturday was the World Naked Bike Ride 2014, and from what we've seen, it looks to have been an arousing success.
According to their website, "We face automobile traffic with our naked bodies as the best way of defending our dignity and exposing the unique dangers faced by cyclists and pedestrians as well as the negative consequences we all face due to dependence on oil, and other forms of non-renewable energy."
A huge list of countries from Australia and The Czech Republic to Peru and The United States participate in the annual event. The site encourages freedom of expression, so if you want to paint your body, wear crazy wigs, or wear sensible swimwear, you're welcome to dress or undress in a manner that makes you most comfortable.
Some of the best pictures from this year's event were culled together on this Flickr page, from which we pulled out some of our favorites for your enjoyment.
