A Field Guide To Hanna Rundlöf And Franziska Frank

Yesterday, the latest photo shoot from Treats! Magazine dropped in our laps – and what a treat it was. In addition to featuring the magazine's always stunning (and titillating!) photography, it also introduced us to two gorgeous girls, Hanna Rundlöf and Franziska Frank.  To be perfectly frank (no pun intended), these ladies have been running through our minds ever since we first laid eyes on them – so how about we give them a break and take a minute to learn their back stories. (Because seriously guys, their legs are looking tired.)

Though these lovely ladies may look like sisters (if you squint, anyway) their similarities are largely skin deep. Franziska was born in February 1987 in Hamburg, Germany; Hanna a full six years later and hundreds of miles away in Sweden. Though they are both acclaimed models, their entrances into the industry were extremely different from one another. While Franziska took the traditional route (as she explained to reporters, "A friend of mine made an appointment with Model Management in Hamburg. So I went there to apply for their modeling competition which I... won at the end."), Hanna decided to break into the industry in a much more modern way:

I was 14, 2007 and was sending pictures with my friend just for fun to a modeling competition. I was in a big shock when they called me since I did it just for fun. And the pictures were sooo horrible, very teenagy webcam photos!

(And we thought only aspiring porn girls took that route!)

Granted, despite their wildly different routes into the industry, they both ended up as established models (Franziska's landed numerous coveted gigs, including being featured on the cover of Vogue for her very first gig; Hanna's a regular on the runway and in high fashion mags), so you might think their stories would converge as their lives both turned into a whirlwind of glamorous photo shoots and parties. But you'd be wrong: while Hanna's an outgoing sort of girl who loves Cosmos, snowboarding, and the great outdoors, Franziska's a self-identified homebody who prefers a quiet night in with her boyfriend, her dog, and an episode or two of "24." Hanna's a fan of indie rock and alternative pop (her favorite band is Mando Diao, if you're curious), while Franziska's a fan of house music (when she leaves the house, that is).

Need a better sense of how different these two are? Just take a look at their respective social media presences. Hanna's all over social media, with Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and even Vine accounts full of quirky posts about her life (from a tweeted photo with the comment "How fun is insomnia" to musings about dream falafel to our very favorite, a sexy little video of an early morning lap dance (a fully clothed one, but a lap dance all the same)). Franziska, on the other hand, maintains a relatively amount of internet anonymity: try as we might, we couldn't find any accounts for her beyond this official Facebook fan page and an infrequently updated Instagram, which mostly shares shots from the set (and, of course, dog pictures). Is their age difference the reason for their wildly different approaches to social media? Perhaps (six years can change a person, guys), but more than likely it's just a difference in personality type. Hey, much as we appreciate a Vine lap dance, we understand that not everyone's up for shooting and sharing one (and that's totally okay by us).

Now that we all know a little bit more about these two fine young things, it might be tempting to try to pick a favorite. Do you prefer the brash, impulsive young thing who entered the industry armed with nothing but grainy webcam shots, and loves the way the industry connects her to fabulous people and places? Or are you more a fan of the quiet homebody who loves simple design and quiet nights? We're sure you're considering the options right now, but we suggest taking a minute to step back and consider the following option: maybe it's best not to choose. Because, in a way, aren't the two beauties together the best of all possible outcomes?

As you're considering that possibility remember that you don't have to take our word for it: thanks to that Treats! spread, there's plenty of photo proof. As we gaze upon the lush, lovely, and (most importantly) totally naked bodies of Hanna and Franziska entangled around one another, it's nice to remember that – as with yin and yang – opposites can enhance one another, making us appreciate their differences... and how damn fine they look topless and reclined against one another. Yes, like chocolate and peanut butter, these two great, yet distinctly different, tastes ultimately taste even better together. And unlike chocolate and peanut butter, they have sexy body parts that we're lucky enough to get to ogle.
