The queen of queer porn is set to put her polymorphously sex positive stamp on Pink Velvet, a daring new imprint from Smash Pictures.
Fleshbot has been in love with Courtney Trouble for... forever. And now mainstream audiences are poised to go similarly gaga in perpetuity for the Trouble Films magnate and omnisexually creative super-force.
Major mainstream adult video studio Smash Pictures has enlisted Courtney to Trouble-ize its Pink Velvet imprint and thereby bring her famously gender fluid, sexually unbound work to vast audiences that have been hungering for bold new frontiers in erotica.
Talking to AVN, Courtney said:
“I think it’s amazing that Smash Pictures hired a queer porn director to make queer porn for the mainstream. They didn’t hire just anybody; they found the person who came up with it. I really respect that. They’re not trying to imitate me. They paid me to do what I do. So as long as that keeps happening I think we’ll all be happy.”
Initially contacted through Courtney's friend and frequent star Jiz Lee, Trouble is excited to bring her philosophy and favorite co-fuckers in on the action, and to illuminate scores of new viewers to her "optimistic pervertedness", noting:
“You never know if it’s going to be done right, if it’s going to be done with love and care. But I’ve seen the large straight audience out there responding really well to my work. I mean I think we’re in a different time and place where queerness is acceptable and interesting and part of everybody’s lives.”
The first Courtney Trouble Pink Velvet Project will be San Francisco Lesbians, starring Daisy Ducati, Dylan Ryan, Samantha Nay, Kinky Gaga, Maxine Holloway, Ella Nova, Siouxsie Q, Minnie Scarlet, Simone Sonay, and Trouble herself in a plot centering around a lesbian GRINDR-type site, the (unfortunately) fictitious SCISSR.
In addition to Pink Velvet, Courtney is also going to perform in an Evil Angel video for director-star (and yet another severe Fleshbot crush) Aiden Starr, a feat Trouble correctly calls "a huge victory." Adds Starr: "“Courtney is an incredibly dynamic person who spans genres while retaining the integrity of her identity. She’s truly inspirational.”
Beyond her empire-building, Courtney is overjoyed to continue fucking on camera and she is making sure that next year's BBW Performer of the Year honor at the AVN Awards is going to be part of the main ceremony. “I can’t wait to see the BBW who wins the 2015 award go up on stage to get her trophy," she says. "And I hope it’s me.”
