Lea Michele Doesn’t Free the Nipple, but Still Goes Topless

Well, the nipples remain locked up, but Lea Michele has freed her bosom. The problem is that her tits are seen from behind, which means they're unseen. It means we're looking at her back, a sexy back for sure, but still a back absent of any secondary sexual characteristics. We love secondary sexual characteristics.

Now, I've been singing the praises of Instagram for some time now, and Lea's post (link below) is certainly a welcomed addition to that dialogue. However, I have to say that what had begun as a spontaneous visual diary has turned a corner recently away from the personal and into a mock intimacy. I smell public relations when I want pubic relations. 

Yeah, Lea is topless, and, yes, she has a great ass, these are beyond debate. Okay? But, and there's always a but, isn't it a bit premeditated? The photograph has the taint of a headshot, granted without the head, a marketing tool, which sucks all the sexiness out of the image. Lea is no longer a body with smells and textures and human dimensions. She is now product. 

A hot property, no doubt, but still packaged goods. We need a new nerd to invent another social media, because the ones we have are mutating into a social disease.
