The Couple That Sleeps Naked Together, Stays Together

It's the question that has plagued relationship-kind from the very earliest days: What's the secret to a happy and healthy relationship? Well, if a new study by Cotton USA is to be believed, it looks like sleeping naked with your partner does the trick.

The Daily Mail (link below) republished some of the findings, and they are revealing...

Of 1,004 Britons, 57 per cent of those who sleep in the nude said they were happy in their relationships, compared with 48 per cent of those in pyjamas, 43 per cent of nightie wearers and 38 per cent of those in onesies.

Onesies, eh? I can guarantee further surveying of those people would reveal that 100% of them are clinically insane.

Stephen McKensie, 33, from Portsmouth said: ‘I have been sleeping in the nude for six years now and it’s so much more  comfortable than wearing pyjamas or boxer shorts.

‘My wife does it too, and we have never been happier. It helps you relax when you’re in bed.’

It's so quaint and, well, British that they put a y in the word pajamas. It reminds me of the Swedish couple that used to live in my building, and every evening I would hear through the wall, "Bjorn, put on you py-amas." Those were the days.
