1)    What kind of girl were you back in high school?  Who did you hang out with/date?

I hung out with lots of different people in high school. I’ve never been one to be a part of a “crew” or “clique” because I like so many types of people. I played sports, was a theatre nerd, did (relatively) well with grades, so I had all those types of friends, but I also liked hanging with the “bad” kids because they were different and interesting even though I didn’t quite fit in. I also changed a lot in high school. I was home schooled until 9th grade so when I started I only knew one person and was relatively innocent. I had never kissed a boy or done any drugs, but there was a bad girl in me trying to get out for sure (when I was like 12 I wanted to be a stripper so I definitely wasn’t normal). I went to NC school of the arts for their intensive summer session after my freshman year and it was one of the most influential times of my adolescence. I was exposed to a lot of ideas and people I had only read about in books. When I came back my sophomore year, I turned into a rebel and a party girl. I skipped class and got drunk at school. I still managed to do okay because I loved my extracurriculars and I knew I wouldn’t be allowed to participate if my grades dropped too much. That went on for a while until halfway through my junior year I met my first boyfriend. He is one of the nicest guys I know. I really fell for him and changed myself a lot. I convinced myself I was going to marry him, and go to law school and have cute blonde babies and a white picket fence. I was a debutante and got straight As. I turned into kind of a cunt, honestly, because I wasn’t really being myself, but I was desperately trying to be the girl everyone around me wanted me to be. I went through quite a few phases during high school and college trying to figure out who I am and what I wanted out of life. I always kind of knew, but I was scared of disappointing my parents because they are pretty fucking great.

2)   Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry?  Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

I only watched porn a few times before I became interested in it as a career. I didn’t watch very high quality stuff, so it didn’t do much for me. I loved to read dirty stories on the internet though. I have a great imagination and I would rather get ideas from a story and imagine it in my head. I always felt like porn wasn’t the way I wanted it. It was too cheesy, too bright, too staged. It wasn’t until I discovered the more high end stuff that I started to watch porn and that was only months before my decision to do porn myself.

3)   What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven’t done yet? 

I worked with Manuel [Ferrara] last week and that was a big deal to me. The first porn I ever watched that really turned me on was one of his scenes, so I was looking forward to working with him from the beginning. I was so nervous! I am also looking forward to shooting for Kink and doing a gang bang. I want to try everything!

4)   Who is your favorite male performer/female performer to work with and why?

I absolutely love Asa [Akira] and Toni [Ribas]. I worked with Toni first and he really gave me my initiation into porn. Before that I had done mainly run-of-the-mill amateur stuff, and he took it to the next level. When I worked with Asa a few months later, I told him, sorry you’ve been replaced as my favorite by your wife! I have done some great girl/girl scenes, but the way we were able to lose ourselves in that scene, and seamlessly fuck for 45 minutes without any cuts or direction was really amazing. I lost myself in that scene unlike any other girl/girl I’ve done so far.

5)   You seem to really love your fans and respond to your fan base a lot on Twitter.  Tell me how having this fan base has changed your life.

Without my fans, I wouldn’t have a job! But mainly, I enjoy hearing from people I might never get to talk to otherwise. It’s amazing to me that people all over the world get off to me doing something I love. I still can’t believe I have any fans at all! I’m just a normal girl, I never expected for people to enjoy watching me fuck, I just did it because I love fucking. It’s given me confidence, of course, but also made me more open minded and aware of sexuality as a whole.

It’s nice to work for companies that really care about the performer being as comfortable as possible. Forbidden Fruits is a newer company I worked for a lot in Florida. They are so much fun! I look forward to going to set and finding out what deviant scenario they’ve developed for the day. Mason at Hard X was another favorite. I love her work and she is another one who really takes care of the performer. I know she will make me look my best and that means a lot! William H for Jules, James Avalon, Alan Igan… honestly, I could go on and on. I’ve only had a handful of bad days at work, and almost all of them were because of something out of everyone’s control. Every day and company is different which is one of the things I love most about this job. Oh! And TeenFidelity because Ryan is fun to fuck and the scenes are creative (we fucked in a park bathroom, hot!)

8) Did civilian sex prepare you for porno sex at all?

It prepared me in that it made me aware of how much I love sex and wanted to experience it in all its forms. I also learned how to lose myself in sex, which is one of the things that makes my scenes stand out (I think at least). I don't mentally detach like a lot of performers, but throw myself into it. But I definitely did not have sex like I do now before porn. Also, no matter how much sex you've had, nothing can really prepare you to play to the camera, besides doing it. 

9)    What are the best things about being a porn star?

Besides the sex? Haha I mean, like I said before, every day is different and challenging in it’s own way. The other thing I love most is how fucking cool everyone is. We all come from so many interesting backgrounds. Almost everyday I learn something new on set just from listening to people talk.  

10)  You really bring a lot of sexual energy to your performances.  How did you evolve into the performer that you are today?

Thank you! I don’t really know, honestly. I just go in every day wanting to a) get off, b) get my partner off, and c) get the person watching off. I just want everyone to cum! Haha. My energy comes from that desire to please, as well as be pleased I guess. Plus I’m just very energetic in general, I talk fast and get excited about lots of things J I’m laidback most of the time but when I feel passionate about something it feels like electricity in my blood.

11)   What do you think is your hottest scene overall?

Oh my gosh, I don’t know! I’m incredibly excited about my showcase (release date TBA), I think some of my best scenes were in that but I don’t REALLY know because I don’t watch them. I know which ones I enjoyed the most but I’m not sure how they look on camera. Every time I do a good scene, I’m like, “this one is the best!” but I think it’s just because it’s the freshest. I do have to say my scene with Steven St. Croix for Our Father was super hot and has gotten great reviews so far!

12)   Just saw that you picked up your own DJ setup.  Is this a hobby or is it something that you plan to go pro with?

Right now it’s more of a hobby. I tend to spread myself too thin sometimes, I want to do everything! I’m focusing on porn right now, but music has always been something I wanted to do, so I’m laying the ground work for the future in my free time! It’s been a pet project for quite some time, and I have a few exciting projects in the works J

13)   Who are your role models in porn and how/why do they inspire you?

Asa Akira, Bonnie Rotten, and Jessie Andrews are all girls I really look up to in not only how they perform, but how they’ve managed the rest of their career as well. They made the right moves and really took “porn star” to the next level. All the Spiegler Girls are role models really, they all have their own style and stand out at whatever it is they do best.  

14)   What do you most want to achieve as a porn star?

I want to change the way porn and sex are viewed by society. I want to help bridge the gap between mainstream and porn. I want to help women reclaim their sexuality. I want to explore my own sexuality as well, and push my limits both physically and mentally. And of course, I want to be recognized in the industry and win awards, because I’m incredibly competitive, and honestly, who doesn’t want to win an AVN?

15)   What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently? 

I never watch movies or TV really but I saw The Trotsky on a plane a few weeks ago and was really struck by it. I love passionate people, and the main character is a prime example of that. The story was quirky and funny, but also quite inspiring. I love stories about people who stand up for what they are passionate about regardless of the apathy of the masses.

16)   How about the best porno movie?  Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

Honestly being in porn has kind of ruined watching porn for me. It’s strange to watch people fucking that I know in real life. Maybe one day I’ll be more comfortable watching my own porn, but as of right now I rarely do except for work purposes. I like to watch it for the aesthetics, and for inspiration, but not really to get off. Sometimes I watch weird animated shit cause they do really disturbing stuff. I’m pretty vanilla in my personal sex life, but my fantasy life can be pretty disgusting sometimes. I’ve been fantasizing about sex since I was very young, so I think it takes more intense and shocking stuff to really get me off, unless it’s real sex with someone I find sexy.
