An Australian entrepreneur and former devout Christian, who now goes by the name Gwyneth Montenegro, has just penned a tell-all memoir about her fifteen years spent as a high priced escort. In the memoir, titled 10,000 Men and Counting, she claims to have slept with, you guessed it, over 10,000 men. 10,091 to be exact, because that's a figure you just can't arbitrarily round up apparently.
In an interview with The Daily Mail (link below), Gwyneth opened up about the circumstances that led to her choice of profession, as well as her upbringing in a devout Christian household.
Ms Montenegro writes very frankly about how she was gang-raped at 18, started dancing on table tops at 19 and how she became a 'high-end' escort by 21. But the now-business entrepreneur didn't start her life out as a wild child. The Melbourne woman was born into a family with deep Christian values and wanted to 'save herself' until the right man came along.
But after she was gang-raped during a night-out at a club, coupled with her low self-esteem and her lust for money, she started off table top dancing before heading into sex work. 'I saw an ad for table top dancing back when I was about 19,' Ms Montenegro said. 'I was very naïve - it’s like I fell off the bus. I got pretty drunk and I made $1000 cash on the first night. I thought that was amazing and I thought "I must be quite decent at it".'
'When I moved up in the escort world, I was meeting more influential and richer clients and I had my first experience with cocaine in my early 20s and it was real A-grade stuff – he was a multi-millionaire. I thought: "Wow, this is really cool",' she said. 'I ended up actually taking cocaine for six to eight months and I was also on speed. It was a lifestyle of cocaine, speed and French champagne.'
Allow me to indulge her timeline for a moment. She became a "high end" escort at 21, and also speaks of a car accident that sidelined her escorting career, as well as a diversion into becoming a commercial airline pilot, before finally retiring at 33. I'll even give her 15 years since that's what she claims. I won't deduct any time for hospital stays related to the car accident, or the 1500 hours of airtime you've got to log before becoming a commercial airline pilot.
10,091 guys in 15 years is 1.843 guys per day. That's with no days off in fifteen years. Busy lady.
