Amber Rose Goes Medieval at VMAs

Fashion is cyclical. Different designers and icons are often inspired by styles and trends from the past. At this years MTV VMA’s model and actress Amber Rose brought back a long forgotten design: Chainmail.  

Chainmail is made by linking small metal rings together to form a mesh pattern to protect the body from swords, spears, and arrows. While great for combat in the Middle Ages Rose’s ensemble probably wouldn’t help her in a sword fight, but it is a victorious at displaying her curvy features. Some may think this outfit is a bust, others will pick up their shields and swords and chat “Rose! Rose! Rose!” on the battlefield.

Only time will time if Rose’s bold outfit will start a new craze in the world of fashion. Surely the brave LARPers don’t feel so alone anymore. They might even name her queen.
