Porn Review–New Sensations Romance’s Second Chances

"Second Chances" hails from New Sensations' Romance line aimed for couples and those who like some snuggling and storyline with their hardcore.  It stars blonde phenom Carter Cruise with Jessa Rhodes and former Vivid Girl Allie Haze with Brendon Miller, Logan Pierce and Chad White.  It is co-directed by Eddie Powell and Jacky St. James and the script was written by St. James.  

Cruise plays a college senior who works at a bar run by Miller who was the butt of frat boy White's joke where he broke up with her for no reason before a big dance.  Miller is actually in love with her but Cruise manages to blow the mood when he tries to hook up with her.  Cruise has grown as a person from being treated like crap--that happens--and works with rescue dogs.  Cruise can't believe that Miller is in love with her and pushes him away.  Meanwhile, White feels regret for what he did and makes a big donation to the animal rescue that Cruise founded.  

Terrible college kids (White and Haze's characters) doing terrible things to unwitting people and loving people getting firm shoves away and solid rejection from the people they have the misfortune to be smitten with (the whole Cruise and Miller relationship)  just isn't that terrifically romantic in my world.  However, the Rhodes and Pierce pairing does seem like something most couples would groove on.    The people who are supposed to end up together do end up together so the happy ending is there for those who want it and think that Miller's character deserves to get what he wants after going through all of that crap.  (I personally wanted Cruise's character to be turned away by Miller so she would learn to never treat someone who loves you like that again.) The acting here is really good from all involved, for sure and the story is easy to get wrapped up in.

There are plenty of extras on this disc so if you download or stream this movie, I highly recommend the DVD.  The extras here include an alternate ending to the main feature, outtakes (Haze complains of flour in her crotch and I can't blame her), a BTS reel (Miller loves Cruise's acting), "Pick Your Pleasure"--a menu that will take you right to the sex act you wanna see, a still gallery, trailers for other New Sensations productions, company contact information and an ad for the company's Fantasy Lingerie line.  (The disc only requires you sit through one ad for the NS Novelties line now instead of several.  It let me into the feature before having to watch the Manuel Ferrara dong ad again and for that, I am grateful.  It's a step in the right direction.)  The main feature is 133 minutes long.

SCENE ONE--ALLIE HAZE & CHAD WHITE

Bitchy Haze--complaining about being fat (as if!)--interrupts academically-challenged White for a sex break.  Haze gives ball cap-wearing White some fine-looking head before jumping on him for some booty-bouncing cowgirl.  Her ass bounces nicely here and it's the highlight of the scene, for sure.  White sprays his load all over her stomach at the pop and wow, that cum looks good on her.

SCENE TWO--JESSA RHODES & LOGAN PIERCE

Pierce hacks the donation site to find out who the donation to the pet rescue was from on a bet and Rhodes agrees to make out with him if he can get the info.  Rhodes pulls him out of the friend zone for some fervent vag banging with lots of kissing.  I like how they play and relate to each other and this is truly a gem of a couples' scene.  It's hot, it's fun and it's worth the cash you spend on this.  (Nerds ARE always better in bed, Rhodes!)   

SCENE THREE--CARTER CRUISE & CHAD WHITE

White realizes what a complete douche he has been to Cruise and he remembers his time "pretending" to be in love with Cruise when they were both college freshmen.  We go in a flashback to their having sex.  Cruise works a dick exceptionally well with her mouth and the vag is great.  Cruise cums hard here, smiling from how good he feels inside of her.  Her energy here is superb--very fun.  

SCENE FOUR--CARTER CRUISE & BRENDON MILLER

Cruise finally stops pushing Miller away after getting an apologetic email from White and goes to Miller's house and proclaims her love for him.  They come off as so excited about each other's bodies here and the pairing is a passionate one.  There were places in the fuck where I wanted to see less closeups of Cruise's genitals and more of their faces as they interacted with each other and came really fucking hard.  Other than that, I really enjoyed this scene.  The tease and the head that Miller gives her is superb.  Cruise cums hard and well here.
