Are We Approaching the Extinction of Porn DVD’s?

I can remember a time in which the only way to get a new porno was to face the uncomfortableness of venturing into an adult video store. It might not have been uncomfortable for you, but for a relatively attractive woman entering an adult store of any kind was always one big awkward adventure. Between walking past dildos the size of my torso and feeling scared to touch almost everything in fear of my hands getting covered in an unknown sticky substance--my visits to the adult video store were always short but rarely sweet.

Remember VHS tapes? If you answered 'no' then you probably shouldn't be reading this right now. With the world of Internet porn corrupting our youth it's not really too big of a surprise that adult DVDs just aren't seeing the sales that they once did. A recent article released by Xbiz (link below) covered this subject in depth, stating that every day another DVD customer is lost and that DVD sales will never return to what they once were. Even further, they say that DVDs aren't done just yet. I'd have to agree, I think we've got a little bit of time to spare; however, the end is approaching and you better snag your copies before it smacks us all right in the face!

Let's face it, it's just so much easier to get your porn fix via the world wide web. Long live the awkward days of venturing into the adult video store to snag a copy of your favorite porn babe's new release. For all of you out there that prefer a good hard copy (no, that wasn't meant to be punny) it took VHS forever to become obsolete. I'm sure you're safe for at least a few more years.
