The next time your wife tries to the use the "I have a headache" excuse to get out of having sex, she better be prepared for one hell of a debate!
We've all heard the rumors that a quick orgasm is exactly what you need to relieve a headache. However, there wasn't too much credibility behind using "sexual healing" to relieve your migraine woes... until now! A few crazy Germans decided to do a research study to see whether or not having sex actually assisted in relieving both migraines and headaches. Damn those Germans and their sexual awareness! No balls America, no balls.
Their study consisted of 800 migraine patients and 200 cluster headache patients. Out of the 1000 patients, 1/5 reported that they felt no pain after getting their rocks off and 60 percent of those with migraines and 37 percent of those with cluster headaches admitted that sex can help decrease the pain. Now you might be thinking that the last thing that you want when you're experiencing an earth-shattering brain throbbing migraine is to partake in physical activity, and you aren't alone on that one. Sex is not typically something that migraine sufferers resort to when they're experiencing an attack. However, researchers have found that “hormones called endorphin's are released which act as natural painkillers to reduce pain instantly.” So maybe it's time to rethink the way you manage the pain!
Sure, painkillers are still probably your best option. However, if there's a possibility that sex can do the trick it's worth a shot! I'm not the best at math, but this isn't a tough equation: Sex > Everything Other Than Sex.
You be the judge. Next time you feel a headache approaching we dare you to ditch the Excedrin and try out the bang method!
