Being a substitute teacher probably sucks. They pay is probably shitty, most likely you have to “teach” a subject you weren’t really good at in school, and you have you put up with a bunch of annoying kids. One substitute, Thomas G. Needmeyer, found a way to make up for all the crap of being a sub: downloading porn. His Internet bliss was quickly disrupted when he was fired.
According to The Evening Sun (link below), the Pennsylvania Department of Education demanded that Needmeyer surrender his teaching certification after it was discovered he had downloaded 240 pornographic images unto a school computer. While I have no problem with a teacher, cop, or president looking at porn, I would prefer they do it at home. And also, who downloads porn? I mean the Internet is a vast ocean of porn, and downloading seems like a waste of time, especially with a simple Google search.
The real kicker is that Needmeyer downloaded the images to a computer at the school he was subbing at, and then he left the images there. Well, he might have deleted them, but every cop drama on television has taught me that deleting the pictures doesn’t really get rid of them. I know that downloading porn isn’t the issue, all I’m asking is what’s the point of downloading porn images?
I once had a college professor tell me the best way to relieve the stress of studying for exams is to watch hardcore porn. Whether he was hitting on me or simply giving advice on what worked for him, I'll never know. But sure enough, watching porn did help relieve the stress. Substitute teachers especially need stress relief, but not on school computers. Take that shit to the public library, perv.
