Canadian Survey Finds That “Sex Workers” Are Happy Hookin’

Sex workers, or hookers if you prefer, almost always get a bad rep. It seems that people just don't like to think about the fact that someone is getting paid to have sex for a living. If they aren't being looked down upon, sex workers are viewed as victims of an unspeakable crime. A recent Canadian survey answered the question that we should really be asking, "How do sex workers PERSONALLY feel about their jobs?" The results weren't what most people would expect!

If we were to survey a group of random people within the same career field how satisfied they were with their jobs what do you think the answer would be? I'd say maybe 50% at the highest. The survey found that a whopping 70% of sex workers were satisfied with their professions and that an additional 68% also felt as though they had good job security and were being paid appropriately.

Quite a few sex workers also stated that the thing that they most enjoyed about their jobs didn't involve giving blow jobs for cash (sorry, I had to), it was the fact that their careers gave them flexibility and allowed them to work whenever they pleased.

The median salary for a sex worker is roughly $39,500. Now that might not be enough to live a life of luxury per se but it beats flipping burgers at a fast food restaurant, that's for sure. Let's face it, sex will always sell. You might not be able talk about the fact that you had a long day of hookin' while eating dinner with the family but who am I to judge? Like what you like, and love what you do.
