Arte Channel Presents “Pop Models”, The Justice League of Supermodels

When the world’s greatest superheroes joined forces they called it The Justice League. When the world’s greatest supermodels are together in one place we could call it the Just Hot League, or Legion of Boobs, if they are evil supermodels.  

The Franco-German television channel Arte aired a documentary called, Pop Models, which chronicled 50 years of fashion and supermodels. While the documentary had plenty of interviews, the best part has to be the images of the world’s most beautiful women. Claudia Schiffer, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, and Carla Burni are a few of supermodels highlighted in this film. Those are some of the heavy hitters of the fashion model world; I want to take a moment to highlight my favorite, Cindy Crawford. As a kid I was sneak into my father’s office to look at his Playboys. I was always careful and put the magazines back in the order I found them. But then my boyhood crush, Cindy Crawford posed for that magazine and I had to keep that one close. Thinking I was clever, I only took a picture of the magazine, but needless to say that picture was how I ended up grounded for a month. The punishment was the worth the crime.  

We probably don’t get the Arte channel over here in the states. Maybe if you have satellite package that gets channels from overseas, but most likely not. Let’s all hope that Pop Models will make it’s way to Netflix. I’d like to spend an evening with these ladies and I’m sure I’m not alone.
