Five Steamy Titles Currently Streaming On Netflix

In the bygone days of the video store conglomerates like Blockbuster Video, it was hard to find decent adult content. Having worked there for nearly three years during and after college, I always took pity on the small town perverts who could never find anything worth jerking off to. Now that Blockbuster is gone and Netflix rules the roost, however, it's becoming easier to find stimulating films for every taste.

Here are five titles currently streaming that deal with erotica, pornography, or some combination of the two...

Danland

This film follows the life and career of "Porno Dan" Leal as he attempts to navigate the murky waters of the adult film industry. I caught the film on Netflix back in June, but apparently Porno Dan was just made aware that it's streaming, and shouted it from the hilltop that is XBIZ. It's an interesting watch and features plenty of behind the scenes action for those wondering what it's like to be on a no-budget porn shoot.

Edo Porn

Okay, so this is a weird one--a really weird one--but hey, some people like weird shit. It concerns a 19th century woodblock artist who loses his great love, but years later discovers her exact double and decides to recreate his most famous work with his new muse. It involves an octopus and some other weird shit, but we wouldn't expect any less from an early 80s Japanese erotic film. 

After Porn Ends

Another documentary, this one follows porn stars lives after they leave the industry. There are some horror stories in here. HORROR STORIES. But for the most part, it's fairly interesting, and you'll walk away from this appreciating Randy West even more than you did before. Seriously, the guy is awesome. 

Bad Timing: A Sensual Obsession

Far and away one of the most provocative directors of all time is Nicolas Roeg, and while his film Don't Look Now gets a lot of attention for its allegedly unsimulated sex scene, that film is more thriller than sex romp. Bad Timing on the other hand is one of the sexiest movies you'll ever see. Plus you'll get to see what Art Garfunkel's dick looks like. That do anything for you?

I Am an S&M Writer

I stumbled across this one while looking for another semi-autobiographical film called I Am A Sex Addict, which is no longer streaming, but this is quite the find in and of itself. It follows a sexually dissatisfied woman who begins experimenting with S&M in an attempt to connect with her husband who is an S&M writer. It's interesting and most of all, super sexy.
