It's a little disturbing to talk about the term "viral marketing" where vulnerable looking exposed pink bits are concerned, but that's the concept behind Porno Marketing, an Italian project that bills itself as "the first product placement website for the sex-amateur community" and which offers "a unique and enriching chance to anonymously associate your own brand to highly viral content." What that involves is having amateur exhibitionists pose with (or at least near) various products and retail establishments in order to help extend their brand beyond the usual forms of advertising. Whether it's a real proposition to marketers or just a clever means to get people to contribute naked pictures of themselves doesn't effect that fact that this sort of thing really does work: not everyone might be tempted to run out and buy a six pack of Corona after seeing ways to enjoy it that don't involve a warm sandy beach and a wedge of lime, but we bet there's a significant minority of you out there who are suddenly feeling pretty thirsty right about now.
