Sex Museums Where Future Entries Of The ‘Night At The Museum’ Franchise Could Take Place

Museums are hallowed institutions of learning where, on occasion, Ben Stiller gets up to some late night hijinks. A new profile of sex museums around the world by CNN (link below) has got me thinking about what sort of trouble Stiller can get up to in future installments. Let's take a look at the future of the Night at the Museum franchise.

Night at the Museum: The Hunt for Harry Mahoney's Erotic Heritage Museum

Larry Daley (Stiller) moves to Las Vegas where he was offered a job as the curator of the Liberace Museum. When that shutters its doors, he is recruited by Harry Mahoney to be the night watchmen at his Erotic Heritage Museum. Here, Larry begins a scam to create counterfeit punch cards, giving everyone he knows 10 free cups of coffee at the museum's Cafe Erotica. Hijinks ensue.

Night at the Museum: Not For All the Ham in Amsterdam

Larry Daley (Stiller) travels to Amsterdam on vacation, but is robbed outside his hotel, forcing him to have to get a job if he's going to get enough money to return to the US. He takes a job at the Red Light Secrets Museum of Prostitution, where magically every midnight, the ghosts of the old prostitutes return to life and wander the streets looking for johns. Larry decides they should unionize under him, and he becomes their pimp. Hijinks ensue. 

Night at the Museum: In the Miami Heat of the Night

Larry Daley (Stiller) goes to visit Cecil, Gus, and Reginald, the old museum guards he first met in New York, at their retirement community in Miami. Here he discovers that they've been working at the World Erotic Art Museum to supplement their social security checks, and Larry tags along one night. At the museum, the ghosts of Rembrandt, Picasso, and other artists whose work is featured in the museum come to life and force Larry to join Cecil, Gus, and Reginald in nude modeling. Hijinks ensue.

Night at the Museum: I Left Rasputin's Penis in St. Petersburg

Larry Daley (Stiller) is sent by evil museum curator Dr. McPhee to Moscow where he must go to the MusEros Museum and retrieve the penis of Rasputin. In a franchise crossover first, Larry is recruited by Motormouth Jones & Tackleberry from the Police Academy movies to overthrow the Putin administration. Hijinks ensue.

Night at the Museum: Czech Please!

Larry Daley (Stiller) is traded in the annual museum nightwatchmen draft to the Sex Machines Museum in Prague. Here he is introduced to a dark world of 16th Century chastity belts and copulation tables, but the good times end when the ghost of Sigmund Freud hooks Larry up to an electric anti-masturbation machine, causing him to die from differentials in European voltage vs. American voltage. The franchise officially comes to a close.
