The American Music Awards are this Sunday, and even though it's always been one of those events where, as they say, "anything can happen," the show's producers are terrified of Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea performing together. In fact, according to TMZ (link below), they've provided the performers with a list of things they're not allowed to do.
The execs have set the ground rules ... no cracks, no rubbing. There will be a 3-4 second delay, but these shows have a rich history of raunchy performances slipping through ... the cracks.
It's interesting ... we're told ABC has not put the kibosh on spanking ... something fairly prominent in the music video. But that's as sexual as execs will allow.
Man, no one misunderstands ellipses quite like TMZ. So what do you think is going to happen? If they only told them no cracks and no rubbing, is everything else on the table? In fact, ABC's short list of don'ts kind of reminds me of the rule in my elementary school: No cuts, no buts, no coconuts. Now those were rules to live by.
