It's no secret that Miley Cyrus is all about freeing her own nipples. I mean, we've seen quite a few photos of her topless this year alone! So it really shouldn't be too big of a surprise that Miley's the next celeb to hop on the Free The Nipple Campaign band wagon. Although there's been plenty of celebs to celebrate their nipples as of late, Miley's approach was a tad bit different then most. She decided to go about showing her support by recording a new track for the Free The Nipple documentary. Oh boy, shit's about to get real interesting! Or maybe not?
When I heard that Miley had recorded a new track for the Free The Nipple documentary my mind exploded with curiosity. I kept flipping back and fourth from expecting her to bring fourth something hilarious to feeling completely mortified. All I could envision was Miley singing her lungs out about nipples and freedom while some fat ass beats were looping in the background. You know, the kind of song that you'd become hopelessly obsessed with without even wanting it to happen? Yeah, I couldn't have been more wrong! Supposedly, the song that Miley recorded is a cover of an old track by some chick named Melanie Safka titled “Look What They’ve Done to My Song, Ma”. After listening to the original I must admit that although there is there is no bumping, there aren't any fan beats, and there is no mention of any nipples or freeing them at all-- it's still a pretty ok tune.
So yeah, Miley is pretty gung-ho about supporting nipple freedom. She recorded a new song for the Free The Nipple documentary that's probably not at all what you'd expect it to be but it will be interesting to see what she comes up with! FYI, in case you haven't already seen it you can check out the trailer below! As for the Miley song, we'll just have to wait until the film comes out to see what kind of tricks she has up her sleeve.
