Twenty Questions with Hall of Famer Steven St Croix

AVN Hall of Famer Steven St. Croix has won a ton of awards over his career fucking beautiful women, has recently authored a memoir of his time in the adult industry and has banged pretty much every porn chick you have ever jerked off to.  Yeah, he is really that awesome.  At this year's AVN Awards show, he is nominated for Best Actor for his work in Vivid's "Wetwork" and Best Threeway for Girlfriends Films' "Proud Parents" with Lily Labeau and AVN's reigning MILF Performer of the Year India Summer.  Most recently, St. Croix stars in Wicked Pictures' "jessica drake's Guide to Wicked Sex: Satisfy Her Like A Legend" directed by Wicked Pictures' contract performer/director jessica drake herself.  The man is most definitely a legend and could teach many of us a thing or two....here are his answers to twenty questions.

1) What kind of guy were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

I was a charming bastard who tried to seduce my teachers with scented love letters written on card paper stolen from my mothers desk. I also had a gas problem which kind of got in the way of the 'seduction' process. I hung out with anyone who actually came to school showered and clean. As far as dating is concerned, I saw the guidance counselor more than I dated girls.

2) Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

I would get the nerve up to walk into 'Pussycat' theaters and go into the video viewing booths, which was probably weird because I had to be the only one bringing toilet seat liners into the booths. But when those 4 quarters dropped, I grabbed some tissues and enjoyed Tori Welles, Barbara Dare, Ginger Lynn, Christy Canyon and Teri Weigel.

3) What do you think shaped you into the sexually strong man that we see in your porno?

Probably my hunger for all types of women and the fact I carried rope and gaffer's tape with me in the trunk of my car while on dates. And I carried my attorneys business card....

4) What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven’t done yet?

6) You are very active on Twitter. Tell me how reaching your fans through the internet has changed things for you.

Well, it really hasn't changed things for me that much except for the fact that I have more gay fans reaching out to me offering their orifices for my use, which is weird because I think orifices should not be in water parks doing tricks. They should be left in the wild.

7) What’s your favorite position to fuck a woman in and why does it get you off?

8) What made you decide to write “Porn Star: Everything You Want to Know And Are Embarrassed to Ask”?

I felt it was time to tell my story from a male's perspective about what I experienced in the business. It was also a way of dipping my toe in and seeing if there was an interest in a more comprehensive memoir.

9) What is one thing you would teach another man who wanted to be a better sexual partner?

Relax, breathe, take your time and don't be selfish. There are two people involved here. And eat pussy!

10) What are the best things about being a porn star? How has it made your life more fulfilling?

It's nice to be infamous in a way when you travel and people freak out that 'Steven St. Croix' actually walked into a cupcake bakery and ate 5 cupcakes. And then walked out without paying for them. It gives them a good story to tell at the christening.

11) What movies of yours would you say are ones that are “must-owns” for your fans?

Dog Walker, Bad Wives, Torn, Wetwork and Proud Parents......and Rawhide (Adam & Eve).

12) How was working with Adrianna Luna in “jessica drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex: Satisfy Her Like A Legend”?

Not so good. She ate garlic and tuna right before the scene.

Seriously, I love Adrianna. I would clone her and make like 6 of her and dress them up in slutty little outfits and feed them helium so they can talk in higher range and I would communicate with her by rubbing two balloons together. Then, I'd make a cheesy Japanese sitcom with them and I would be their landlord and wear a scarf.

13) How was working for director jessica drake?

Not bad once the whip marks on my back healed. She's such a slave driver and she demands foot massages from me every time I see her.

14) What else can we look forward to seeing from you in the coming months?

Birdman

19) After all of your years in porn, is there anything you would want to do differently if you had a second chance?

I would have not gotten fired from my Vivid contract.
