Buy A CD, Get A Nude Photo!

Sometimes salespeople have to do something to sweeten the pot to get someone to buy something. Car dealers throw in free car washes, retailers offer deeper discounts, and R&B divas offer signed nude posters of themselves. Actually, only one is offering a nude poster of herself. If you purchase K. Michelle’s new album on her website, she’ll throw in a signed nude poster. Now that’s good marketing.  

K. Michelle has been around the R&B scene since 2009. Most of her singles haven’t reached too high the charts, they have slowly been getting higher and higher. I really can’t think of a better way to generate buzz then to give the fans a little something extra. I mean, a free poster is good, a free autographed poster is better, but a free autographed poster of K. Michelle nude with a few strategically placed roses is the best. Really, this is going above and beyond the call duty.  

I hope the rest of the R&B world takes notices. You want to increase your record sales, give away a picture of yourself in a limited about of clothing. To be honest, I’m a little surprised Nicki Minaj didn’t think of this. Maybe she’ll try to one up K. Michelle with limited edition photocopy of her butt.
