Did Domino’s Want to Use Bondage To Sell Pizza?

So, when I say BDSM, do you think pizza? Well, the folks at Domino’s Pizza really want you to make that connection or least order their new Sriracha pizza after a nice session of spanking.  

The literal tongue-tied ad reportedly appeared in print in Israel, but the truth is the ad never ran anywhere. While the ad is real, no one was supposed to see it. Tim McIntyre, a spokesman for Domino’s, confirmed it was a real ad and added:  

“The ad was created and pitched by an agency to the independent franchise in Israel.”

So yeah, it was real, but never used. Yep, it was leaked online. Or as McIntyre put it:  

“It never ‘officially’ appeared anywhere, because it was ill-advised, unfunny and not brand-appropriate,” 

“In a word, it was stupid.”

I wouldn’t call it stupid. I will admit that I actually eat Domino’s on occasion and the reason why is because I was curious after they admitted their pizza sucked and changed it. I had to try it. It’s not half bad. I would also think with the popularity of 50 Shades of Grey the idea of a BDSM-themed mainstream ad wouldn’t be that bad of an idea.  

While I’ll never think of pizza while getting spanked, I would totally get a pizza and watch Secretary. Though it won’t be a Sriracha pizza, that has no appeal to me. Call me old fashion, but I like my spanking done by hand and my pizza with cheese and pepperoni.
