Thanks to the Internet, porn is plentiful. Typically you can find whatever type of porn you want with a few simple keystrokes. In the dark days before the Internet you only had porn mags, scrambled cable porn, and Teletext.
Also known as broadcast teletext, Teletext was invited in the early 1970s by John Adams (not the second president of the United States). Basically what Teletext was was a series of simple text and block shapes, kind of like 8-bit graphics from the first Nintendo. While most of the Teletext were simple news stories, weather information, and basic TV schedules, they also had ads for adult encounters and such.
While Teletext was replaced by the World Wide Web, a few folks on Tumblr decided to honor Teletext by putting as many of the images as they could find online. From some this might be nostalgia, but others this should serve as a history lesson. I don’t want to sound like an old man, but back in my day you didn’t have high-resolution pictures of anything you wanted at a moment's notice. You got scrambled or pixelated porn and you were grateful for it.
Damn, I really did sound like a cranky old man. Sorry about that. Now enjoy your Teletext porn, I’m going to somewhere and complain how much things cost these days.
