Twenty Questions with Vivid Radio Host/Porn Star Jelena Jensen

Jelena Jensen has been in porn for over a decade and hosts her fascinating radio show "The J Spot" on Vivid Radio. She has hosted programs on Playboy TV as well as modeled for Playboy, has been a Penthouse Pet, and her girl/girl scenes on film are consistently smoking hot. She only does boy/girl over at her website but with that much great girl/girl out there with so many top companies/directors, we will not run out of reasons to lust after this strong, lovely chick any time soon. Here are her answers to twenty questions.

1) What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

I’ve always been very tomboy-ish and in high school I was very grunge/punk/alt. I actually hung out with a wide variety of people because of all the different things I was a part of in high school. I was friends with all the smart kids since I was in honors and AP classes. I was friends with all the popular kids since I was in ASB (student body/council). I was friends with all the drama kids since I was an active part of our theater department. I was friends with all the punks because those were who I spent most of my free time with, and I was friends with the jocks because my boyfriend during my junior year and half of my senior year was one of the captains of the football team and was a captain of the soccer team.

2) Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

No. I actually had never watched a full scene before I got my first job in the industry in distribution. I never had an issue with it and in no way was I sheltered or not sexually active, it just never appealed to me or did anything for me.

3) What/Who do you want to do on-camera that you haven’t done yet?

There isn’t really anything I haven’t done on camera that I’m dying to do, but I do have a small wishlist of performers I would like to work with. Dani Daniels and Nicole Aniston are definitely on my list, as well as jessica drake.

4) Who is your favorite male performer/female performer to work with and why?

My favorite male performer to work with is Matt Erickson and that’s kind of cheating because he’s the only male performer I’ve ever worked with. Why? Because he’s my husband and I have no desire to work with any other male talent. When it comes to female performers, Andy San Dimas and Anikka Albrite are my favorite women to work with. Andy San Dimas is the best kisser on the planet, and she’s just naturally drop dead gorgeous. Anikka Albrite just exudes sexiness, not just physically or in a scene but in everyday life. I have a major crush on her!

5) You seem to really love your fans and you respond to them a lot on Twitter. Tell me how having this fan base has changed your life.

Well, if it wasn’t for my fans, I wouldn’t have had the career that I’ve been so fortunate to have. My fans keep me in demand by searching for me online, requesting other companies to shoot me, joining my site, etc. So in return I do my best to keep a good relationship with them and be as accessible as possible.

6) What’s your favorite position to get fucked in and why does it get you off?

I love lying on my stomach and being held down by the small of my back. It just does it for me.

7) What titles of yours do you feel are must-owns for your fans?

Imperfect Angels 10, Lesbian Seductions 37, Lesbian Triangles 29 and Women Seeking Women 103…all by Girlfriends Films.

8) What do you like most about hosting your Vivid Radio show?

It’s another way to interact with my fans; I love them being able to call in and actually speak with me. I love when listeners call in and tell me crazy stories. I get to live vicariously through them in a way.

9) What are the best things about being a porn star?

I love the freedom that it gives me. Not only in terms of freedom of schedule by working for myself, but also the freedom to experiment and express myself sexually.

10) You really bring a lot of confident sexual energy to your performances. How did you evolve into the performer that you are today?

For me, it was really about taking small steps as I got more comfortable with having sex on camera. I also prefer to do real sex scenes that aren’t planned out ahead of time. I just get lost in it and forget that the cameras are there.

11) Do you think you will ever do a boy/girl scene somewhere other than your website?

It’s a possibility and I’ve discussed it in the past with other companies, but I can’t give a definitive yes or no answer. I can definitely say that if I do ever shoot a boy/girl scene for someone else, it will be with Matt for sure.

12) What advice would you give a woman who wanted to be better at pleasing her man sexually?

Feel him out and see what he likes because every person is unique. Different strokes for different folks is very true when it comes to pleasing someone. What worked for the last partner won’t necessarily work for the current partner. So feel him out and see what he’s into and what gets him off.

13) Who are your role models in porn and how/why do they inspire you?

jessica drake is at the top of that list. She’s just an amazing human being and has never let her status get the best of her. She’s such a kind person both in the industry and outside of it and she’s done so well for herself by establishing a brand.

14) What do you most want to achieve as a porn star?

I think I’ve already achieved what was always my goal--to have a successful career in this industry. One of my main goals was to win the AVN Award for my website, which I did in 2013.

15) What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

Dallas Buyers Club and American Sniper are two of my favorites that I’ve seen in the past year or so. I’m really excited to see both Matthew McConaughey and Bradley Cooper grow into more refined actors.

16) How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

I honestly don’t ever watch porn unless I’m editing my own scene or checking out a trailer that someone posts. Not only was I not really into it when I entered the business, but now if I see something I pretty much know everyone that’s in it. Kind of ruins the fantasy. If I see a scene of a real life couple though, that will typically turn me on more than other staged scenes. I’m a sucker for reality.

17) Are you into toys to get yourself off alone or are you a low-tech woman?

Hitachi all the way.

18) If you could fuck any celebrity, who would it be? Give us your male and female choices.

Hmmmm…that’s a difficult decision! Jake Gyllenhaal for sure. He’s been my celebrity crush since he did Donnie Darkko. When it comes to the ladies, I have a little bit of a thing for Laura Prepon, but I think that’s because she reminds me of Sovereign Syre. I’d also get down with Kat Dennings.

19) What is coming up for you?

I actually have a busy week this week. I’m shooting two scenes for the Girlsway Network as well as shooting a few days for a new installment of Road Queen for Girlfriends Films. I recently wrapped up a Penthouse feature, too.
